School opens at :              8.50 am              all classes

School closes at :             1.30 pm              junior and senior infants

2.30 pm              1^st  to 6^th  class

The school will be open for a maximum of 183 days in the year.

The school year begins on the first weekday in September.

The school closes in July and August for the summer holidays.

A list of school holidays / closures is given to parents in the first term.

The junior infants go home at 12.00 noon for the first fortnight in September.

Policy on dropping off pupils in the morning and collecting them in the afternoon

The school will open to receive pupils at 8.50am. No responsibility is accepted for pupils arriving  before that time. Classes will end each day at 2.30pm, except in the case of the infant classes which finish at 1.30pm. Parents who wish to have their children escorted home should make their own arrangements to have them met at the collection point, and the person who will escort them, should be at the school not later than 2.30pm as the school cannot accept responsibility for looking after children after that time.
