How lucky were we this morning with the weather! For the first time in years we managed to hold our ‘Siúlóid Scoile’ without having to postpone it over and over again due to bad weather!
Pupils, parents and múinteoirí gathered this morning at 8am and set off on our sponsored walk around Aikens Village and Belarmine Estate.
It was great to see over 400 people walking as one big group, the high vis vests adding great impact to the sight.
The senior pupils kept an eye on the younger pupils, walking and chatting with them as they went along. We returned to the school for 9am where the pupils were given orange juice and a brioche roll.
Buíochas le Coiste na dTuismitheoirí & tuismitheoirí Rang a 6 for organising the sponsored ‘Siúlóid Scoile’ this morning.
