On the 28^th of November, the students of 6^th class earned 75 Irish points for using great Gaeilge. To celebrate, the teachers surprised them by letting them make pizzas. When they walked into class, there was an assortment of ingredients such as pizza bases, tomato sauce, cheese, pepperoni and other toppings on a table. It smelled like a pizza shop. They gasped in astonishment at all the wonderful sights and smells.

The children made their pizzas in pairs. When they were ready for the oven they were put onto trays and brought down to the kitchen. Within minutes the whole school smelled like pizza.

They brought them up to the classroom and the pizzas looked heavenly. The teacher cut them up into slices. The children were so ecstatic they could not wait to dig in. They even made some pizzas for the teachers. Best of all, they went home with no homework!
