R6A Bray Head

28/04/2021

On the 28th of April the students from R6A went on a walk up Bray Head and further. The bus came to collect them at the school at 9:30am. On the climb up to the head they learned about the flowers and trees that were growing on either side of the path and to their excitement they came across a few rope swings hanging from the trees. The students waked up to the cross and ate their small lunch. As they went further they sat up on a big mountain surrounded by gorse and admired the stunning view. Afterwards they found a sheltered spot and ate big lunch. The bus collected them beside the sea, where they enjoyed watching the huge waves crashing against the shore. The bus journey home was very quite as everyone was exhausted but happy!
