Poster Competition

Gaeilge – Beatha Teanga í a labhairt

We held a poster competition for the pupils of R3 to R6 to promote the Irish language and to reinforce the children’s pride in their native tongue. The pupils were asked to create posters with a positive message about the Irish language or to illustrate a nice Irish language phrase in poster form. The standard was very high and narrowing the winners in each class was quite difficult to do. That said, 2 posters from each class were chosen and the winners presented with Irish language T-shirts. The winning posters have been hung up in the hall for all to see.
