Face Coverings

to be worn by everyone while on school grounds

Pupils: To avoid staggered starting times and to facilitate parents all pupils must wear face coverings from the time they enter the school grounds until they reach their classrooms. With so many children making their way into the school we cannot ensure that social distancing is being adhered to properly and this measure should help to reduce the risk of the spread of the virus in the school during this time.

Parents & other Adults/VisitorsAll adults must wear face coverings when on school grounds (anywhere inside the school gates).

……………………………………………………………………………………………………….

Information for Parents

Only staff members will be allowed enter the school building. If a parent wishes to speak with their child’s teacher he/she must contact the school office 01-2950000 or gaelscoil@taobhnacoille.ie to arrange an appointment for same and the teacher will then contact you to arrange a meeting.

……………………………………………………………………………………………………….

Information for Visitors

Visits to the school during the school day should be by prior arrangement. If you do not have a prior arrangement please do not enter the school building. Please contact reception at: Phone 01 2950000 or e-mail gaelscoil@taobhnacoille.ie

Lauren Nic Aoidh & The Brendan Martin Cup

Márta 2018

Congratulations to the Dublin team on winning the all-Ireland Ladies football final in Croke Park. A special congratulations to our past pupil (and brother of Cillian Ó Catháin in R3A & Nathaniel Ó Catháin N2B) Lauren Nic Aoidh on her magnificent performance in Croke Park. 10 years ago Lauren played in Croke Park for Gaelscoil Thaobh na Coille’s girls football team in a Cumann na mBunscol final and won the cup then also!  Lauren visited the school recently and brought the Brendan Martin Cup with her. Coincidentally two of Brendan Martin’s grandnephews and his grandniece attend Gaelscoil Thaobh na Coille and they were delighted to get the opportunity to meet with Lauren and get their picture taken with cup that honours their great uncles  commitment to Ladies Football.
