Ar an 28ú Samhain, shroich daltaí rang a 6 cúig phointe is seachtó don Ghaeilge. Le ceiliúradh a dhéanamh, rinne na páistí píotsa ar scoil. Bhí na cómhábhair leagtha amach ar na boird; bonn píotsa, cáis, anlann trátaí, pepperoni, liamhás, anann, agus arbhar milis. Bhí an boladh cosúil le Dominoes! Bhí ionadh an domhain orthu nuair a chonaic siad é.

Rinne na páistí na píotsaí i mbeirteanna. Nuair a bhí na píotsaí réidh don oighean, chuir na páistí na píotsaí ar thráidire agus chuir an múinteoir iad san oighean ar feadh 8 nóiméad. Bhí boladh píotsa i ngach áit sa scoil.

Thóg na páistí na píotsaí suas go dtí na seomraí ranga agus bhí boladh álainn ann. Ghearr an múinteoir iad suas i slisíní. Bhí na páistí ar mhuin na muice! Rinne siad píotsaí do na múinteoirí chomh maith.  Bhí gach duine sona sásta agus chuaigh na páistí abhaile gan aon obair bhaile!

On the 28th of November, the students of 6th class earned 75 Irish points for using great Gaeilge. To celebrate, the teachers surprised them by letting them make pizzas. When they walked into class, there was an assortment of ingredients such as pizza bases, tomato sauce, cheese, pepperoni and other toppings on a table. It smelled like a pizza shop. They gasped in astonishment at all the wonderful sights and smells.

The children made their pizzas in pairs. When they were ready for the oven they were put onto trays and brought down to the kitchen. Within minutes the whole school smelled like pizza.

They brought them up to the classroom and the pizzas looked heavenly. The teacher cut them up into slices. The children were so ecstatic they could not wait to dig in. They even made some pizzas for the teachers. Best of all, they went home with no homework!
