It’s Christmas time ….and it’s time to decorate the Christmas tree

The school participated in a Christmas decoration competition as part of an event run by Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council. The decorations had to be made out of recycled or re-used materials (toilet paper rolls, plastic bottle caps, old plastic bottles, egg cartons, etc.).
One decoration was chosen from each class. There was a very high standard and the teachers had a very challenging decision to make when choosing one decoration to put forward to the competition.
Keelin Ní Dhuibhir’s decoration was choosen as Gaelscoil Thaobh na Coille’s entry in the regional competition in Dún Laoghaire.
There is a beautiful display of some of the decorations on the Christmas tree on the ground floor of the school.
